Welcome to my new site!! It’s such an incredible feeling to launch the Web site that realizes the vision of my new company and presents it to the world….I can’t even begin to put this into words. It is truly a special, special day for me. Bringing a dream like this to fruition is an indescribable joy that I wanted to share with you.
Step inside, explore…..and I would love to hear from you so be in touch with your reactions, questions, whatever you feel like talking about or just to say hi!
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to continue celebrating life’s milestones with you in style, originality and with the exquisite attention to every detail that is our signature. This is my passion and my life – and I look forward to bringing all this to new levels with LME.
I want to thank every member of my client family (you know you who are, and many of you sent me the most wonderful testimonials for the site) for being so supportive, appreciative and most of all for coming back to me and then back again for all of your celebrations! It has meant so much to me to be there for you – we have so many stories! – and to have played a role in making each of them unforgettable. You are a true family to me and I want to thank you for allowing me the privilege of being a part of your lives in this unique way.
I would also like to thank my dear family and friends, (especially “the girls”!) Too many to list here, but you mean everything to me and there is nothing I can say to thank you enough for being there for me every step of the way. And girls – looking forward to our next night out!
On a more somber note, I want to give my greatest thanks to my husband Tom, who as some of you know passed away earlier this year after 20 wonderful years of marriage. Also as some of you know, Tom had more challenges than many of us – his life took an unexpected detour nine months after our wedding when he dove into our pool and broke his neck, leaving him a quadriplegic confined to a wheelchair for life. All who knew him know that he was never defined by his chair and always had such a remarkable outlook on life; he was my constant inspiration and I gained so much strength from him. A few people along the way have told me that I am their hero but let me tell you: It was Tom who was the hero, not me. Tom – I know how proud you are today and I want to thank you again for always, always being there and for being the person you were. And to everyone who thinks they can’t do something in life because they are afraid to fail or of some obstacle, please think of Tom. I do, every single day. Tom, I dedicate this website to you and hope you love it as much as I do!
I want to say a big thank you to members of the event community who were there for me during this time, with special thanks to David Beahm, Jes Gordon and Ed Libby (they did all the beautiful flowers for Tom’s funeral). Thank you to everyone in my event family for their incredible support. I love you all.
I also want to thank Annie Rose McGrath and Jennifer Rothman. (I know, I apologize if this is turning into a crazy Oscar thank you speech that never ends! But this is my Launch Blog so please bear with me for another moment or two ☺) You two have been incredible supporters and have consistently “minded the ship” during some very trying times in my life. A mere thank you feels insufficient, just please know how very, very appreciative I am and just how much you mean to me.
Last but certainly not least (this is just the longest section so I saved it for the end ☺) I want to thank all those involved in bringing the site together. To (in alphabetical order) Mary J. Belthoff for her amazing work on the mysteries of website coding, Perrie Ducot for his fabulously unique digital design, Tina McGill for her unparalleled creative direction and for being a never-ending well of artistry, Meegan Graham for wonderful content help, guidance and support, and Sharon Roth for composing dynamic brand and site language that transports readers right into the magic…….thank you, thank you and thank you again.
