The wedding ceremony: a dedicated space where the couple promises their love to one another. It’s the perfect opportunity to use beautiful flowers to make the 'I dos' an even more memorable occasion.

When history meets wedding planning …

In 1841, renowned architect Isaiah Rogers designed the Merchants' Exchange in the grand Greek Revival style. Later, in 1907, the building was acquired by the National City Bank, which added four additional floors and a second row of colonnades, courtesy of the architectural firm McKim, Mead, and White. This building is now what we know as Cipriani Wall Street.

As the former Director of Catering at this venue, and having experienced 9/11 there, this place holds a special place in my heart. So, when this couple was open to sharing its history in their Save the Date and, more recently, in their invitation, I was thrilled to bring that story to life with the help of our trusted creative partner, Ipanema Press.

Another fun fact about our couple — We planned her sister's wedding last year in October at Cipriani 42nd Street almost a year to the exact date of this wedding!

What do you do when you want to have a wedding in

What do you do when you want to have a wedding in a State Park, but there’s no structure for your wedding reception? You call in the big guns. NY Tent has been in business since 1994, specializing in custom temporary structures and tents, along with a range of products and services to make your event even more spectacular.

We visited NY Tent to see their operation firsthand, and it goes beyond the surface; it reveals so much about their work ethic, creative engineering and solutions, product maintenance programs, and more. I have to say, we were truly impressed! With 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space dedicated to construction, storage, and fabrication department, it was incredible to see where these structures are brought to life, including how they use technology to track inventory with motion sensors and a QR code vending machine for work supplies.

In order for the glitz and glamour to happen, you need a strong foundation. We were very excited to get a sneak peek at one of our structures in its building phase. We are in great hands and can’t wait to see the final product.
